The role

We are seeking an experienced and committed People and Culture Officer who shares our values to join our People, Culture and Wellbeing team.

Reporting to the Chief People Transition Officer, the People and Culture Officer will undertake duties and tasks to support key People, Culture and Wellbeing functions, processes and projects, including contract delivery and supporting transition and college related activities as required. The role is responsible for a variety of portfolio areas and utilizes generalist experience, knowledge and skill. 

The role will undertake a range of tasks related to general human resource, people and culture matters, including disciplinary, injury management and advisory support, as well as support for recruitment, onboarding and exiting processes. The role will work with the wider team to provide high level administration and generalist functions including to the Chief Program Transition Officer as required.  

The successful candidate must have very high attention to detail, written, verbal and interpersonal skills and will take pride in presentation, quality and efficiency of work.

Very occasional travel including overnight travel and after-hours duties will be required from time to time.


Selection criteria 

To be considered for this opportunity, it is essential that applicants meet the following criteria:

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline.
  • Relevant and current experience in related human resource role.
  • Recent HRIS experience (essential).
  • Unrestricted motor vehicle licence (own car desirable).
